About

Before becoming a freelance graphic designer, the Los Angeles transplant practiced to be a surgeon by sewing raw chicken skin over cantaloupes, outfitted his high school principal in his own clothing line, valet parked incoming patients' cars at a hospital ER, drummed for a grunge band, and photographed the Old World.

After graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Michael wrote and recorded a bunch of original songs, then authored plays for stage and screen. A few of the latter were shortlisted for competitions such as the Academy Nicholl Fellowships and Final Draft BB, while his short film, Trumped, aired on TBAE Network and wracked up wins like Best Drama at Brown University's Ivy Film Festival and a Kodak Film Grant.

His first feature, Exit Strategy, a comedy with a diverse cast and a cameo by funnyman Kevin Hart, released theatrically nationwide with exhibitor chains AMC, Rave Cinemas, and Bow Tie Cinemas, and was sold at major retailers.

During the marketing phase of the film, Michael began his design journey. Word of mouth later, his past corporate and indie clients include but isn't limited to: Warner Bros. Discovery, BMG Production Music, AMC Theatre, Papa John's Pizza, Imperativa Records, and ZOē Productions (for PepsiCo, PepCity, UEFA, Playboy).
